Match Summary

Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table with a resounding 5-0 victory over Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. Goals from Leandro Trossard, Ben White, Bukayo Saka, and Martin Odegaard secured a comfortable win for the Gunners, who moved three points clear of second-placed Manchester City.

Arsenal started the game brightly and took the lead after just nine minutes when Trossard finished off a flowing move with a clinical strike. Chelsea struggled to create any meaningful chances in the first half and Arsenal doubled their lead in the 24th minute when White headed home from a corner. Saka made it 3-0 just before half-time with a superb solo effort, leaving Chelsea with a mountain to climb in the second half.

Chelsea manager Graham Potter made changes at half-time, but Arsenal continued to dominate the game. Odegaard added a fourth goal in the 63rd minute with a curling effort from the edge of the box, and Trossard completed the scoring with his second goal of the game in the 75th minute.

The result was a major blow for Chelsea, who have now lost three of their last four Premier League games. Arsenal, on the other hand, are now unbeaten in their last five league games and are looking increasingly like title contenders.

Post-Match Reaction

"It was a great performance from the team," said Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta. "We were very aggressive from the start and we took our chances well. We're delighted with the result and we're now looking forward to our next game."

"We're very disappointed with the result," said Chelsea manager Graham Potter. "We didn't play well enough and we were punished by Arsenal. We need to learn from this and improve quickly."
