Liverpool Eliminated in Europa League Quarter-Finals

Liverpool crashed out of the Europa League on Friday 19 April 2024, losing 1-0 to Atalanta in the second leg of their quarter-final tie.
Jurgen Klopp made several changes to his team, resting key players ahead of their Premier League clash with Manchester City on Sunday.
However, Atalanta took full advantage of Liverpool's weakened side, scoring the only goal of the game through Mario Pasalic in the first half.
Liverpool had chances to equalize, but Mohamed Salah missed a penalty in the second half.
The result means that Liverpool are out of all European competition this season.
